There's something truly magical about flowers and if you're anything like me, you can't resist the vibrant colours and scents that come with a beautiful fresh bouquet. In London, I am fortunate to have some of the most renowned and talented florists on my doorstep, so I wanted to share a small curation of some of my favourites in London and a little further afield.
1. Lavender Green – Kings Road, London
Renowned as one of London’s finest florists, this place is an absolute dream come true for flower lovers like me from the moment you step foot inside their charming shop. Their team has a knack for creating the perfect bouquet for every occasion and can seem to read my mind with every vision.
2. FLOWERBX - Online Delivery Service
I LOVE Flowerbx! It’s owned by my friend Whitney Bromberg Hawkings, and their flowers are so lush and luxurious. You can even pick a vase for the bunch you’re gifting, so it’s ready to be styled around the house. They also offer a subscription option, which makes a really lovely and thoughtful gift idea.
3. Scarlet and Violet - Chamberlayne Road, London
It’s always such a lovely experience buying flowers from Scarlet and Violet. The team is so knowledgeable, and I love their flower selection. You can shop flowers in their London shop or online, and they offer same-day delivery.
4. Lela Floret - @lela.floret
If you need floral inspiration, search up Lela Floret on Instagram. She makes the most wonderful arrangements for centrepieces, Christmas wreaths and more.
5. Simon Lycett - @simonlycett
My friend Simon Lycett, of course! Simon is the flower guru, and he recently came over to my house and styled all our Sharland England jugs and vases with the most beautiful flowers. 6. Amanda Austin Flowers – Kings Road, London
The combination of the most lovely, knowledgeable team and their sensational flowers is simply incredible. They do weddings, events, dinners or of course, the most beautiful bouquets for your home delivered daily throughout London.
7. Petals at Bibendum – Fulham Road, London
Petals at Bibendum is an expert family business which started when founder Jonathan Cansdale began selling flowers on the side of the road more than 40 years ago. I love their rose-based bouquets – hand-picked and beautifully crafted, they make the perfect centrepiece for a garden party tablescape.
8. Smith and Munson – South Lincolnshire
With five generations of flower growers, they have truly mastered the art of floristry. Their new summer Roselilies are dreamy and even come pollen-free free so they are ideal for those with allergies! Their flower subscription sends handpicked seasonal flowers each week, fortnight or monthly and is one of the most affordable and beautiful I have seen on the market.
9. Botanique Workshop - Exmouth Market, London
A lovely flower and plant boutique shop that also holds workshops. Their florists can create the most beautiful bespoke bouquets in collaboration with you right there on the spot, and you can also find just about any gardening tool you could need.
