If we receive your order by 2pm Monday-Friday, we aim to dispatch your order on the same day. If your order is received after 2pm, it will be dispatched the following business day.

International Orders 

When a package is delivered internationally, it may be subject to duties, taxes, customs duties, and / or handling fees by the destination country.

Europe 
Orders shipping to Europe may be subject to local duties, tax and custom duties that will need to be paid on arrival at the destination country.

United States

Orders placed after 29th August

As of the 29th August 2025 the US government has introduced increased duties on all imports for all orders regardless of the value of the order. This means that when you place an order with us for any of our products shipping to the United States you will be subject to Duties charges.

Orders placed before 29th August

Any orders placed before the 29th August 2025 that are below USD$800 (including shipping fee) will not have any Duties charged. 

Orders over USD$800 (including shipping fee) will have duties charged. The duties on your order are broken out in the checkout for visibility.

Duties and Shipping charges are clearly displayed at checkout and orders are shipped to the US with a Duties Paid service in order to minimise administration for our customers.

You will be contacted by our shipping company (in most US cases this is FEDEX)  to ask you for your SSN, and for trade customers, your EIN plus a Power of Attorney Form. For context, the POA (power of attorney) form is an administrative formality allowing the courier to clear the goods on your behalf. We are unable to provide SSN or EIN to the courier on your behalf.

Customs

When a package is delivered internationally, it may be subject to duties, taxes, customs duties, and / or handling fees by the destination country.

The US government has recently introduced increased duties on imports for orders over USD$800. We are working hard to be able to provide our customers with visibility of how these duties apply to each order. In the meantime, please reach out to customercare@sharlandengland.com if you have any questions. These charges are typically due once the package arrives in the destination country. The customer is responsible for paying these charges, which may be done through your local customs office. If left unpaid, or if a customer rejects their item at customs, the shipping cost to return that item to Sharland England, will be deducted from the original product price customer refund.
 

Returns

Change of mind returns 

We accept returns up to 21 days from the day your order is delivered. To return your order please:

1) Package it carefully in the original packaging, and send it back to our warehouse at the address below. We strongly suggest using a tracked service. Please make sure your order number is written on the shipping label or outside of packaging.
2) Complete our short returns form here so that we can track & process your return.

Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging and with the attached receipt or proof of purchase. Make sure the item is well protected when returning it to us, so that it is not damaged in transit. When the item is received by our warehouse, we will initiate a refund (please allow 4-7 business days), excluding the initial shipping cost. 

Damaged Goods 

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help. 

In the unfortunate case that your item(s) are damaged or broken in transit, please notify us within 5 days of receiving it at customercare@sharlandengland.com, attaching photos to the email, a brief description of the damage, the order number and shipping information. We understand how disappointing this can be and will do our absolute best to replace them as quickly as possible. Once we receive your email, we will follow-up with next steps. Please note, however, any faults reported after 5 days of receiving the item, will be deemed as general wear and tear. 

Returns Policy

Sharland England reserves the right to refuse any return on merchandise that does not meet our return requirements. We are unable to offer an exchange or refund on items that are deemed damaged upon return - scratched, worn or not in their original packaging. The customer is responsible for paying the return shipping cost. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and you are advised to arrange your own insurance. We cannot accept responsibility for parcels lost in transit.

We do not offer returns on antique items (unless damage occurs in transit) due to the fact that all the pieces are entirely unique and will show wear consistent with age. Please see further details on our T&C's page.
