The holiday season is truly a special time, and one of my favorite things to do is make lasting memories with my daughters, especially through baking or crafting together. This Christmas, we decided on a different festive family project: crafting charming, vintage-style card ornaments for our tree. Here's how we did it...

Materials you'll need:

- A deck of cards

- A pot of boiling water with 4-5 tea bags

- A drying rack

- Coffee grains

- Your favorite ribbon

Start by preparing a pot of boiling water and adding the tea bags. Once your tea has cooled slightly, submerge the cards and allow them to soak for 3-4 hours. Now, lay the cards out on a drying rack, and brush coffee grounds across the surface to give them an aged appearance. Let them dry overnight, then gently remove the coffee residue with the brush.

Finally, use a hole punch to create a hole in the top center of each card. Thread a ribbon through the hole, and your beautifully aged card ornaments are ready to add a unique touch to your Christmas tree.
