Mother’s Day is just around the corner, and I’m always so excited to celebrate this particular holiday. My mum is my best friend, and I hope that one day Honor and I can have the same relationship. This year we’ll be hanging out at home with some friends, and I wanted to make a special, girly cocktail for all the ladies who come over.

Warmer weather is finally here in LA, so I decided on these super easy rose lemon spritzers to celebrate the arrival of Spring. These cocktails are so quick to make (less than 10 minutes for a whole pitcher!), and everyone will love them. If you’re having a brunch with family, you can even leave out the alcohol to make them kid-friendly. They’re as easy as mixing a few ingredients together! Check out the recipe, below – and let me know if you try them.

Ingredients:
Makes 1 serving
2 tablespoons rose water or sparkling rosé (option to use alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (add more or less to taste)
1 1/2-2 ounces chilled vodka – I used peach and orange flavored for an extra fruity taste (optional)
1-2 oz of sparkling blood orange soda
Sparkling water to taste
Dried roses and lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Directions:
Combine the first four ingredients in a bowl, pitcher or decanter and mix gently with a spoon. Multiply serving sizes to make multiple cocktails at once. Pour over ice and top off with desired amount of sparkling water. If you prefer your cocktails less sweet, omit the blood orange soda or use only a few drops. Don’t forget to add the dried roses on top for a beautiful final touch!
